A very rare early Pen and Ink drawing of a female aviator dressed and ready for 'going up!'
I'm not sure whether she is the pilot or passenger but many women embraced aviation and became pilots in its earliest pioneer years. By most accounts they were treated with complete equality by their male pilot counterparts although they are severely under represented in the Art of the time.
It's very rare to find images of females in the aviation genre at this time and doubly rare with this Picture having being drawn by a female artist.
